Now that you have the wood bat, you need to take care of it.
Here are a few tips to keep your bat in great shape:
Keep your baseball bat clean. This is especially important
if you use pine tar on your bat.
The best way to clean a bat is to wipe it down with rubbing alcohol after
use.
Non Painted Bats....Take a soft cloth or a wad of paper towels and wet liberally with rubbing
alcohol. Wipe down the bat from the top of the barrel down to the handle,
paying particular attention to the handle, where pine tar, sweat and grime
quickly accumulate.
To take care of dings, scrapes and scratches on the bat, try rubbing it with
a piece of bone, Dog Chewy, or another wood bat. The idea is to smooth out the
rough spots caused by play and to keep the bat’s surface smooth and
unblemished.
When it’s not in use, store your bat in a cool, dry place. Store the bat
vertically, with the handle end up.
If you take care of your bat, it will get you on base when
you step to the plate.

Care
1. Do not hit your metal cleats with the barrel, this
causes dents in the ash wood.
2. After a game wipe your bat with a clean cloth to
remove dirt.
3. Remove buildup of pine tar from handle.
4. When used in wet climates do not hit old water
logged baseballs.
5. Your can hit
with 360 degrees with this bat so rotate often.
6. Everyone will want to use your Bat DON'T LET
IT BECOME A TEAM BAT.
7. When used during batting practice use regular
leather baseballs, the rubber cage balls cause a
vibration inside the
bat thus reducing the bat pop...it will lose ball distance.
Good luck and JUST HIT
THE BALL AS HARD AS YOU CAN......................

The answer to taking hitting
practice before a game or steeping into the batting cage for batting
practice is to get at
least 25-30 swings using our (PowerWiffs)
With these supper realistic poly plastic 9" baseballs with embossed red
threads enable you to get an eye on how the ball looks when thrown by a
pitcher. Tested by the Northwest
Independent Baseball League with little to no plastic PowerWiffsTM
baseballs splitting when hit
by adult hitters using wood or composite wood bats. These 9" plastic
training baseballs are perforated for restricted flight. They are great
for up close batting drills or indoor play during the off season
